Change the world for one person every day, day by day and the whole world will be so much better for all of us! Together we can change the future of the whole world.
Arlett Evelyn, 16, lives in a small town in Romania, the poorest in the European Union, where many parents (including her mother) have left the country in search of work, and most of those left depend on social support. Arlett Evelyn fights for children’s rights in her community and dreams of a world in which every child is loved, protected and has access to education. She represents the vulnerable children of Vaslui, meeting with local government representatives and advocating for child protection and participation. She was selected as leader of her school and as president of the Children’s Consultative Committee of World Vision Romania. She has led numerous campaigns to support vulnerable families, children and old people, and has coordinated research for two influential reports about violence against children in Romania, the results of which have impacted over 2000 children so far.
