Batool, 15, lives in Iraq. Her father died after the fall of Sadam’s regime, and she lives with her mother, brother and sister. She volunteers in a cancer hospital for children where she offers help and support to children and their families. She also teaches the children how to do origami. It comforts them and gives them a sense of joy and happiness. Batool has received several awards, including a medal for gifted and talented young people. In the future Batool wants to continue helping children and volunteering for charities.
