Adults should stop violating the rights of children, instead they should protect them so that they can grow up in secure environments. They should stop exposing children to drug abuse, rather protect children from the same.

Brian's story

Brian, 14, lives in Kenya. He grew up in a community where child abuse is common. Brian says that if children do not know their rights and cannot defend themselves, they will be abused and unable to fulfill their potential. He has spoken up on behalf of children who were falsely accused, and taken action when schoolchildren were preyed upon by drug pushers. This served as a wake-up call to the parents and teachers involved. Brian also teaches other children about their rights and how to defend them. He wants to keep studying children’s rights and takes a particular interest in reporting procedures.
