Life is good, life is wonderful.
Elena, 14, is a cancer survivor in Romania. She believes that children with cancer deserve a happy childhood and hopes for a bright future, with access to effective treatment, an inclusive social care package and adapted education support. Elena has acted as a representative and has spoken at various large events including Children’s Day and World Cancer Children’s Day. She has spoken to prominent public personalities about the difficulties experienced by children and teenagers suffering from cancer, especially in relation to medical care, social rights, education and access to training. She plans to start a school campaign in Bucharest to highlight the rights, hopes and dreams of children and teenagers with cancer.
