It’s very easy to fight when there is nothing against you, but it’s more important to fight when everything is.

Giorgi's story

Giorgi, 17, advocates for the rights and opportunities of teenagers in Georgia, specifically through the field of science. Having faced many obstacles to fulfill his scientific ambitions, he realized that it was important to advocate for the rights of young scientists. He co-founded the Young Scientists’ Club of Georgia with Amiran Aptsiauri, to keep teenagers informed of science competitions and to help them to enter. The pair also engaged with the Georgian Parliament to propose changes to the law, allowing teenagers more freedom and opportunity to fulfill their scientific potential. Because of him, teenagers have been taken seriously at every level.
