Ralia's story

Ralia, 17, lives in Kenya. She grew up in a minority community where the education of girls is given little attention. When she discovered what World Vision did for children and families in her community she was inspired to become active fighting for children’s rights, especially those of girls from marginalized communities. She is in the children’s government at national level as cabinet secretary for tourism. She has given various inspiring talks on occasions such as the International Day of the African Child.
