The International Children's Peace Prize is an initiative of the KidsRights Foundation. We are thankful to our partners and all those who make the annual award possible.
World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates
The International Children’s Peace Prize was launched by KidsRights during the 2005 World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates chaired by Mikhail Gorbachev. Since then, the prize has been awarded every year by a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.
The International Children’s Peace Prize award ceremony has been sponsored by ABN AMRO since 2006. The bank supports KidsRights and the International Children’s Peace Prize financially, provides office facilities to the KidsRights organisation and enables voluntary support through its employees. ABN AMRO has supported KidsRights, as leading sponsor, since 2006.
af Jochnick Foundation
The af Jochnick Foundation finances the project fund of the Children's Peace Prize since 2015. Their project funding is invested by KidsRights in projects closely related to the winner's area of work.
Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport
The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport hosts the ceremony of the International Children’s Peace Prize and makes available the Hall of Knights.
KidsRights would also like to thank our legal partner NautaDutilh for supporting the research done concerning the children's rights and violations addressed by the Children's Peace Prize Winner.
