Jigme is a child who grew up in poverty and has a strong will to help other children and young people living in poverty. He has formed a youth organization and has started helping people living in poverty in his country, by approaching many governmental departments to receive help and support for his organization. He was able to raise awareness about children living in poverty by listening to the voices of children who have or are experiencing poverty and sharing those stories in various schools across the country. He also founded camps for minors with a poverty related background in remote areas across the country with the support of governmental bodies. Jigme was recognized by the king of Bhutan and was given the leadership training to help him further his goals.
